BASIC GUIDELINES



  •   Day3 Church reserves the right to deny usage of its buildings.

  •   Filing an application for usage is no guarantee of approval for usage of buildings.

  •   Usage of building by church members takes priority over other requests.

  •   Requests/applications for building usage must be filed at least 2 months prior to the event.

  • Building key and alarm code must be secured no less than 3 days in advance of your event. Staff will not be available to secure a key after that time.

SPECIFIC GUIDELINES



  • The Pastoral staff will have final say in granting or rejecting requests to use our facilities.

  • Building usage will only be considered for events deemed appropriate.

  • Examples of appropriate events include personal celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, etc.), support of non-profit organizations aligned with Day3 values (Pregnancy Care Center, Samaritan's Purse OCC, etc.), and benevolent causes where significant procedes go directly to the need (fund raisers for legitimate needs, blood drives, etc.).

  • Examples of inappropriate uses include events for organizations or causes not aligned with Day3 values, for-profit sales events, and events that promote or endorse lifestyles not aligned with Biblcal values.

  • Persons using facility will be responsible for all damages and cleaning after event.

  • For large events such as wedding it is required that Day3’s janitorial service be contracted to clean the facilities.  A large event will be considered an expected attendance of 50 or more.  For groups smaller than 50, the party using the facility can clean the facilities used themselves, but in advance they must designate a responsible person to be sure the cleaning takes place.  If it is found after a smaller group event, that the cleaning has not taken place, or is not satisfactory, the Day3 cleaning service will be called and the party using the facility will be billed for cleaning of facility.   This is the only guarantee the church has to assure the facilities are properly cleaned and ready for worship services.  The fees are as follows:


    • Cleaning fee for upstairs fellowship hall - $125.00

    • Cleaning fee for worship center - $125.00

    • Cleaning fee for individual classrooms - $20.00 each

    • Note:  Total for complete facility will be $250.00

    • Should a situation arise where the facility has been left in poor condition and more cleaning is required than normal, the church will forward a bill for excessive cleaning costs. 


  • No events shall be scheduled during regular worship or event/meeting times at Day3 Church.

  • Usage of facility is free to church members, although donations will be accepted to help cover the cost of utilities.  Cleaning fees do apply to members unless they desire to clean the areas of usage themselves; with the exception of large event rules such as weddings already stated.

  • If music is to be performed or played; the songs must be approved by the pastor or a person/group appointed by him.  The songs must be submitted 2 months prior to the event and failure to do so forfeits the usage of music/songs for that event.  Day3 Church provides a sound system for the fellowship hall/reception area and of course in the worship center; however only qualified persons from Day3’s Multimedia team will be allowed to run the sound equipment and only approved music/songs played on that equipment.  For wedding receptions a dance will be allowed for the groom and bride or father-of-the-bride and bride only.  If you desire dance to be available for a large group you will need to find another appropriate facility.  While we understand not all music performed at weddings/receptions will be “Christian” based music, no music will be allowed that presents inappropriate lyrics or themes.  No outside DJ’s will be allowed to play music at wedding receptions or other parties held in the fellowship hall.  As stated above, the church will provide sound system and qualified sound tech. 

  • Usage fees to non-members, if approved for facility usage, are as follows:


    • Worship facility usage - $200.00  (Up to 2 hours)

    • Individual room rental - $30.00  (Up to 2 hours)

    • Downstairs lobby - $40.00  (Up to 2 hours)

    • Fellowship Hall/Kitchen/Upstairs area – not requiring change of tables/chairs on the floor area – $50 per hour  Fellowship Hall area including changing tables/chairs for an event such as a wedding reception - $100 minimum; beyond 2 hours additional $50 per hr.

    • Parties will be responsible to provide their own supplies/plates/plastic utensils, etc…

    • ALL FEES MUST BE PAID ONE MONTH PRIOR TO EVENT DATE OR APPROVAL OF USAGE WILL BE CONSIDERED VOID.

    • NOTE:  Usage fees for non-members do not include cleaning fees.
